Volunteering is the easiest way to be involved in Startup Extreme!
We have two ways to volunteer:
- Help out before the conference
- Volunteer at the conference

Volunteer Structure for SX 2023
Each year we bring together volunteers to take with us to Hemsedal for the week to make an incredible team! Together we put on the most Extreme conference in the world.
Last year we had a few key teams and they looked something like this:

Builder Team
The incredible stages don't magically appear in the Norwegian mountains! A team of crafty people construct the amazing art, platforms and structure for the event to thrive in!
Without this team, we would have a few empty tents and a lot of snow! -
Hospitality Team
The face of Startup Extreme! This wonderful team are here to help the guests of the conference - answering questions, setting up signposts so everyone knows where to go, take people to their extreme activities!
If you love working with people then a team like this could be perfect!

Media Team
This team are the magical people behind capturing the event! They keep people up to date on socials, video events and capture the joy in being at Startup Extreme in photos.
This team is responsible for the amazing videos and photos that you can look back on!

Power Team
A little bit of everything! This team holds structures together with the builder team, helps guide large groups with the hospitality, jump under stage to help production with wiring or be a steady hand to get that perfect shot with the media team!
A great way to really jump in to all areas of a conference.

Production Team
This is the team that keep the program running smoothly! They will give you the 5 minute warning wave from the side of the stage, make sure we have the stage prepped for your life changing pitches.
